Boss not in office, beware computer to spy on you

So consider carefully sooner than gossiping or easing out in workplace hours , now a new laptop monitor is designed, which can regulate you.

Researchers from the College of St. Andrews, Scotland, have developed a new kind of pc monitor which literaly can get you out of the job as a result of it could actually tell your boss what you have been doing when he or she was once no longer around.

It Really Works on a very simple logic, it had a camera installed above the laptop Show which is able to identify the user’s eyes to see if they are looking on the laptop or now not.

This technology which is used in the computer monitors is just like the know-how offered in tv set-top containers to look again at viewers and robotically serve acceptable adverts.

But The Analysis group, then again says that the innovation shouldn’t be aimed on retaining eyes on workers but is focused to increase the productivity of work and they do not fail to notice anything else important.

The system referred to as “Diff Displays”, detects when its consumer shouldn’t be having a look at a Show and replaces the regular display picture with a calm and non-distractive visualisation of the reveal’s process instead.

It reduces distractions by using fading out the components of the monitor that stay static and by means of subtly visualising adjustments within the Show over time.

When the user seems to be back at a Show, the device speedy adjustments back from the visualisation to the real display content via totally different types of animation.

The know-how can be of an important use in excessive-drive environments akin to air-visitors keep an eye on rooms, the place staff have a number of screens to keep tabs on, say researchers.

  1. Hi. Does anyone know if it’s possible to use a background that would essentially turn my computer monitor into a mirror? Scanning a mirror doesn’t work.

And neither does taking a picture of a mirror and putting it on as the background. please don’t recommend google images.

    Thanks!

  2. My computer monitor was on and functioning put I went over to check my email recently, the screen will not turn on. The light by the monitor’s “on” button is blinking which tells me it has power and the computer is on (when I press keys at random-it beeps) but nothing on the monitor. I’ve tried reconnecting the video cables, turning the computer off/on, and making sure everything is plugged in but no luck. Anyone know a helpful solution?

  3. I bought a 24 inch HDMI lcd computer monitor a while back for my computer, but I now use it for my Xbox 360. The monitor has speakers, but I can only adjust the volume if I get up and use the touch buttons on the front of the monitor, which are usually unresponsive and a pain in the butt to use. I was wondering if their is any way possible for me to program a remote to use with the monitor. If that isn’t possible, is their a way to control the volume directly from my Xbox 360? I saw an Xbox 360 remote, but does that actually control volume?

The monitor is a Samsung 24 in. SyncMaster 2494 HM.

Is it possible to turn your LCD computer monitor into a television WITHOUT a computer?? Is there a converter I can purchase to turn it into a TV?? It has the basic power and computer connection.

I’m getting a new computer monitor (a bigger one) and my brother wants my old monitor. I was wondering if that monitor can be converted into a television somehow someway?

For personal reasons, we don’t want a TV in our home, period. We are getting our kids a Wii for Christmas, however and would like to connect it to a flat panel computer monitor without having to use a converter box or upscaler. It appears that we would simply need a monitor with composite inputs. It would be nice to have at least a 22″ screen and I’m perfectly satisfied to buy a used one, so what would be my best option? Monitors with composite inputs do not seem to be terribly popular.

What is the highest resolution computer monitor available on the commercial market. I am not talking about custom-built monitors used in research etc.
I am not talking about the largest sized monitor.

I want a second computer monitor to go along with my main PC so that i can multi-task. S-Video and coax for regular TV are necessities. Any recommendations?
