  4. Is Yahoo changing from Yahoo customer service to a ‘community of users’ question/answer system about Yahoo software? Will this be similar to Google, which often does not answer the question or fix the product problem?

I have two Yahoo accounts. When I attempted to link my Yahoo and Facebook accounts together, the wrong Yahoo account linked with my Facebook account. I’ve unlinked them, but Yahoo will not let me link back to my Facebook account with the Yahoo account I wanted. Why? It’s not like it’s linking to two accounts. It’s unlinked!

  6. I have both my yahoo and hotmail email address on my yahoo answers account. I only need the yahoo account and wish to remove the hotmail one.

When I go to My activity – Edit my preferences I am given the option to add another email but not remove it.

In yahoo account information – manage email accounts, I have removed the hotmail address successfully, but it is still present in yahoo answers. How do I get rid of it?

The new Yahoo mail system is terrible. It’s slow; it won’t let you open up messages in separate windows and it won’t let you do basic things like view only “unread” messages. Absolutely terrible. I’ve tried it for weeks now and I hate it more every day; I am going to have to switch to Gmail unless I can figure out how to revert back to the classic Yahoo mail system. Does anybody know how to do this?

  9. I was about to buy several times from an Alibaba seller but when they say that the only payment they receive is wire transfer like Western Union, I became suspicious. Besides Western Union charges a lot to send 150 dollars, and I don’t feel it’s worth it.

One seller told me they were “fooled” many times. How can one be fooled with Paypal when everything is verified including the address and credit card number?

I upgraded to yahoo messenger because I kept getting pop-up update notifications, and disabled the yahoo toolbar that downloaded along with the update. Now every time my Trillian starts I get a pop-up to update Yahoo messenger (which I already did) and a yahoo admin contact embeds itself in my Trillian. How do I stop these annoying features without getting rid of Yahoo alltogether?

  11. I want to delete the yahoo personal profile I recently created, without deleting my entire yahoo email. I am very frustrated because I have found this question on Yahoo answers and followed the instruction in the answers, but there is NO delete profile button after going into edit on my yahoo personal account. Please help, this is very vague.
