My brothers friend said that running first thing in the morning can speed up metabolism, and he’s really fit and kinda a health freak, so I do believe it. And if it’s true, what other things can speed up metabolism besides diet?

I cant stand the taste (or lack thereof) of water but am repeatedly reminded of the health benefits. Juice and even concentrated mixers contain a lot of calories and sugar which I can do without, although I cant drink tea without adding sweetener.

Are there flavoured powders etc that can be used to liven up my water bottle?!
    Any suggestions?

Julie bought a new juice maker machine and has been making carrot and mango juice, which she drinks 2 or 3 times daily. She has noticed recently that the palms of her hands are turning orange. What is likely causing this? Is she at risk of vitamin toxicity?

  6. so I’m a 19 year old college athlete living with my not so health conscious parents and I would like to know what types of foods I can tell them to have more around the house. I try to buy my own stuff, but it gets difficult with my budget.

It’s mostly junk food…do you have any tips on what types of food to have around?

what types of vegetables or fruits should be in the fridge? what are healthy foods to snack on? should there always be green vegies served at dinner?
