Queensland has unveiled plans for the electrical Super Freeway, a sequence of fast-charging stations in 18 cities and cities it hopes will motivate the uptake of electric vehicles.

“This challenge is bold, but we would like as many people as that you can imagine on board the electric Automobile revolution, as part of our transition to a low emissions future,” the state’s acting roads minister, Steven Miles, said in a observation.

The state’s govt claims it’s going to be the world’s longest stretch of electrical Freeway in one state, at virtually 2,000 kilometres (1,242 miles), making it that you can think of to pressure from the Gold Coast on the state’s southern border to Cairns in the far north with out running out juice.

Electrical Vehicle Council CEO Behyad Jafari stated the move used to be an “necessary step” in helping using Electrical vehicles.
