  1. Ok, so this is a rather stupid, childish and annoying post, but I’ll try to get to the point as quick as possible.

So I’m currently living in a student complex with 2, well now 3 other roommates. I’m the only original tenet from this place. The rest subleased to random people who aren’t even students. Two of these people have been making my life miserable. One of them is a huge stoner and smokes EVERY day in his room and the other is a major control freak and “restricts” me from doing things at certain times because they both work early in the morning and need no noise from me. As I am a college student and have a part-time job, its nearly impossible for me to do all of my work during the day. So, I’m up pretty late most of the time. I do get hungry and with such a hectic schedule, I sometimes have to do laundry late at night as well, but of course with these roommates, I’m “not allowed” to do anything past 12. One night, I just got fed up with their bullcrap and got all my stuff and placed them in my room while not caring whether or not I was loud or not as they were being so rude to me for the past couple of months. In the midst of all of this, one of my roommates threatened to punch me if I didn’t shut up and started harassing me over my weight. I called the cops on her, got a police report and the next day I called my landlord and told them what was going on. Next thing I know, he’s telling me my roommate is going to sue me for what I posted up on my Facebook. First of all, I don’t even know the chick’s name, so I wouldn’t even have her on my FB to begin with, and second of all, I keep everything private. Not only that, but my postings contained phrases such as: CONTEMPLATING, CAN I and I WANNA. So I really don’t even know on what grounds she even has on suing me. Anyway, my landlord wasn’t going to do anything about them and told me he was placing my postings on my file. This just pissed me off, because when reading over the leasing contract, both of these roommates had a breach of contract and again, my landlord wasn’t going to do anything about it. In the state of Texas, possession of marijuana is illegal and a roommate dispute in the common room where someone’s life is threatened is considered domestic violence here as well, and I just have no idea WHY they aren’t going to do anything about them!

My question is, does my landlord even have a right to use my Facebook postings and place them on my file?! I want to leave ASAP! These people are endangering my health and life and no one is doing anything about it. What happens if I go rent somewhere else and they call this place for my rental history? Will I be denied housing because of it?
We are all on separate leases.

I work at a retail store for minimum wage as a sales associate. The employee handbook at my work says that I cannot form special social relationships with any coworkers. However, when I first got my job, I was informed that legally, my company cannot tell me what to do outside of work. Nevertheless, today we had a staff meeting in which my boss reinforced this rule saying the furthest any of us could go as friends is talking at work. I am uncomfortable with this considering I work with my best friend and he was my friend long before I was hired at this store. Is this legal for my boss to do?

An ex friend of mine recently started coming to my workplace in attempts to get me fired. I only know this because friends call me and tell me how she boasts on facebook about trying to get me fired for looking at her.
First, this whole ordeal happened because she posted on facebook a bunch of insulting garbage about my roommate that could get him in trouble. I told her to take it down and she refused so I deleted and blocked her. Later that night i get calls from friends and family saying she posted a status about ME. My ADDRESS, How to break in my house, calls me fat (i’m 130lbs, she’s literally almost 200lbs, all of my dirty laundry out on facebook and even throws in some lies about herself.

    Now my question is,
is her posting my address, insulting me and repeatedly coming in to my work to “get me fired” considered harassment?
Also, she worked at the same employer but quit the same day i was hired. She was a horrible employee and never came to work. Would they take any of that into consideration?

  6. I have facebook mobile set up but can’t figure out how to send the pictures to my mobile album.
